The Apollo Media Center is pleased to host Phil Davis Jr., an award-winning writer, filmmaker, and founder of SKOVU TV, for his screenwriting workshop, “From Page to Screen.” This workshop provides an opportunity for aspiring writers, filmmakers, and members of the Buffalo community to learn valuable skills and insights about the screenwriting and filmmaking process from an experienced industry professional. The Apollo Media Center proudly endorses the work of Phil Davis Jr. and supports his efforts to bring quality educational opportunities to the community of Buffalo, New York. We recognize the workshop as an affordable opportunity for participants to gain valuable knowledge, practical information, and creative guidance that can assist them in developing their storytelling and screenwriting abilities. The Apollo Media Center and the City of Buffalo, New York, however, are not responsible for any monetary obligations, fees, agreements, or other financial arrangements associated with the workshop. Additionally, neither the Apollo Media Center nor the City of Buffalo assumes responsibility for the content, opinions, instruction, or information presented by Phil Davis Jr. during the workshop. Broadcast on Spectrum Digital Cable Channel 1302 & Channel 20
The Apollo Media Center maintains a digital television signal on Spectrum Digital Channel 1302, in broadcast area Metro-Buffalo, New York (approximately 70,000 cable homes). Certified "Independent Producers", in good standings with the Apollo Media Center, can enter a series contract to broadcast on our channel.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Apollo Media Center to bring to City of Buffalo residents the ability to communicate their message, to be assisted in the creation, and distribution of that message to cable TV subscribers (Spectrum Digital Cable) and others using television technology.
