Orientation -To Be Announced
What to expect
Our orientation class is designed to give the participant an overview of the Apollo Media Center and our services. We start our classes ON-TIME, and those who can't be punctual will be ask to reschedule. Television production takes commitment and good time management. Topics discussed are rules, regulations, what is expected of you as an independent producer. The class is no longer 45 minutes, pending the Q & A session. Orientation manuals will be handed out upon arrival. OUR CLASSES ARE FREE!!
What to bring
Please bring pen/pencil, paper, legal identification, proof of residency, and be prepare to take notes. A lot of information will be disseminated, so it is in your best interest to retain it.
How to sign up for orientation
To sign up for an orientation class, call our office at 716-881-9300 or email us at apollomediacenter@yahoo.com. Simply leave your name, phone number, and email address. We will contact you to confirm the date and time of your orientation class.
How to sign up for production classes
To qualify for to take our production classes you MUST have completed our orientation class. Only then you're eligible to sign up for production classes and/or a series contract. Adobe Premiere Pro Digital Editing Classes
Class Description
This Adobe Premiere Pro CC training course teaches you how to import video, edit it, add effects and transitions, and then export your video projects. You will learn the tools and techniques that Premiere Pro has to offer you, and how to apply them to everyday editing scenarios. Designed for the absolute beginner, no previous editing experience is required in order for you to get the most out of this Premiere Pro CC tutorial. (OUR CLASSES ARE FREE!!!)
Studio Production Classes
Class Description
An introduction to the basic principles, procedures, and techniques of television production. Students learn how to operate TV switchers, TV cameras, sound, and graphic equipment. The course covers the fundamentals of producing, scripting, directing, and editing for television. We will develop technical and aesthetic abilities in order to produce TV Shows. Whether is a single-camera or a multi-camera episode, we will discuss and practice diverse production and directing strategies to achieve them. (OUR CLASSES ARE FREE!!!)
